There are several physical methods to remove papilloma. The most common methods are coagulation, frostbite, radiosurgery, laser treatment.
Electric coagulation involves the removal of papillomas with high-frequency electric current. This method has been used for a long time and has proven to be very effective. But it also has disadvantages. First of all, these are painful feelings after the operation, which persist for a long time.
Cryotestruction, also a widely used method of treating papilloma, gives the patient less discomfort. The method is based on freezing the tissue in question with liquid nitrogen. Healing of wounds caused by a degree of erosion takes place within one to two weeks. At the same time, there are no traces left on the skin.
This method is only used to remove papilloma skin. If it is necessary to remove the papilloma of the cervix, this method is not used, because it is ineffective in this case.
The best method to treat human papilloma in terms of effectiveness, painless time and duration after surgery is laser removal of papilloma. The method is based on the use of surgical light.
The peculiarity of the method is that immediately after the relevant tissues have been removed, the seals dissolve the blood vessels, which prevents bleeding. This procedure does not cause complications or scars. The recovery period is one month.
There is another modern method of removing papilloma - radiosurgery. This method is based on the use of special equipment that cuts damaged tissue by exposing them to high-frequency radio waves.
Despite the successful use in modern medicine of the methods described above, papilloma surgery is still popular. Perhaps this is the most painful procedure that involves a long time after surgery. But in many cases the use of this particular method is demonstrated. For example, surgery for papilloma of the cervix is used in oncology.
Recovery time
Regardless of the method used to remove the papilloma, various measures must be followed after the operation. Among other things, heavy drinking is shown, a correlation with careful treatment.
Comprehensive measures are also needed to reduce the concentration of the papilloma virus in the body. Drugs that strengthen the immune system are usually prescribed for this purpose.
